“We are never ever disappointed!

Fresh flowers always warm my heart but everything you have done is … just… wow!!! Oh my goodness gracious. The kitchen!!!! The under cabinet lighting… the back splash. The island stools are the perfect height. The space in the kitchen work area is awesome. It’s so lovely to have more space and absolutely beautiful as well. And so organized. Then we walked out to the dock… which is a space ready for a family party!!! All the seating … all The space. And the fancy lights at night. And all the hooks on the docks for all of your water toys. And the new SUP ( which is very cool) …. It’s amazing. Your gardens are amazing too. I did a garden walk every morning with my cup of coffee around the whole house. It is stunning. And so peaceful and such a happy way to start the day.

Such a lovely place. We loved sitting on the dock to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. Hot tub was great for a post hike soak. Very relaxing!”

We were a group of ladies in Lake Placid for a girl's weekend. We really enjoyed our stay at Sunburst. Beautiful house with stunning views of the mountains and lake. The deck overlooking the lake was a wonderful spot for us to gather on a beautiful sunny morning. It was so nice to be able to go out the door and put on your cross country skis and ski up the lake. We also loved that we could walk into town to do shopping or pick up something to eat. It was a wonderful weekend.”

Sunburst is a beautiful spacious home that has allowed our family to spend precious time together through the years. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, and the spacious family room, dining room and kitchen areas provides excellent space for large families to relax and dine together, while also having independent space as desired. The location is beautiful and very convenient to the downtown area. The Hot Tub is an added plus! Barry and his team are flexible, responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!”

We have been coming to Sunburst for several years now and it is always the highlight of our year! No matter what the season, we have a wonderful time at Sunburst. Some favorites are the kayaks and swim dock in the summer, the hiking trails close by and the frozen lake for skating in the winter. The house is very spacious. The yard has plenty of room for the kids to run around. The Adirondack chairs on the dock are perfect for stargazing on a clear night. Lake Placid is our happy place and Sunburst makes it a perfect vacation spot for our family. We are always so sad to leave and look forward to our next trip to Sunburst!”
